The aim of creating this homepage is to make accesible data of Lejeunea and the Lejeuneaceae (Jungermanniopsida), principally from the Neotropics. By this way new information can be compiled faster and hopefully the knowledge on this large group of small and interesting plants can be shared by more people.
In a first step an actualization of the catalogue of the genus for Latin America and microscopic photographs of 17 species of Lejeunea are presented. Keys to geographical regions or subgenera of the genus are in preparation.
